The Auralia Team

In its mission to enhance the cultural visit by means of the latest technologies for interacting with the environment, Auralia has created uVox; a product born with the aim of raising the visiting experience to new hights in all kinds of spaces, from large museums of art to cities, via unique theme spaces and innovative events.

Since it was set up in 2008, Auralia has received several awards of a national and international nature (the Toribio Echevarria Award for Innovative Entrepreneurship 2008, the Top16 Neotec Forum Venture Capital Award 2009, the Top100 Start Ups European Venture Contest 2009, the Bancaja Award for Technology Start Ups 2010).

The company is made up of a young, multidisciplinary team that combines the passion for fresh experiences with a clear technological calling.

Iván Portas | CEO and Co-Founder

Iván is the CEO at Auralia and a founder; he is responsible for implementing the company’s global strategy. He is a serious entrepreneur and has broad experience in technology enhancement through Start Ups, from the conception and initial development of the strategy right up to its implementation.

David Sánchez | CTO and Co-Founder

David is the CTO at Auralia and a founder; he is responsible for implementing the company’s technology strategy. David has extensive experience not only in the management of multi-disciplinary R+D teams, but also in the drawing up of strategic technology plans.

Cristina Til | COO

Cristina handles operations at Auralia, she is responsible for managing some of the company’s most important commercial relations. She has developed her career in project management with distributed working groups, combining high standards of quality with managing people.

Vincent Poizat | Advisory Board Member

Vincent has been working actively as a supplier of new technologies for the museum and cultural sector in France.  He has been head of sales at Antenna Audio, and introduced audio guides and multimedia guides at the Louvre, Château de Versailles or the Centre Pompidou. After this period he is content to work as a sales representative successfully promoting concepts like mobile applications of 360° multimedia visits for museums.

Manuel Barbié | Advisory Board Member

Manuel is one of Europe’s principal modern art gallery directors. His participation in renowned international fairs (Art Cologne Fair, Cologne; Pavilion of Art and Design PAD, London; ARCO, Madrid; Pavillon des Arts et Antiquités, Paris, etc.), and his close ties with international institutions and museums vouch for his broad experience in the art business and collecting, where he gives professional advice to renowned private as well as corporate collectors.
