Features
At Auralia, believe that technology is no more than a tool for achieving a common aim: To make the people who visit the museum feel moved.
MUSEUM OR SPACE
An installation that is respectful. The uVox self-positioning system functions by using only the natural visual features of the environment, without any kind of sensor or invasive signage. There is no need for expensive, unsightly installations to enjoy uVox.
Less maintenance. In the same way that the installation is simple and respects the environment, maintenance of the system is practically reduced to zero with uVox.
Absence of interference. All the processes that take place in uVox are local ones, in other words, they take place within the equipment itself without any kind of wireless broadcasting or receiving of information. This way, interference with any of the location’s security systems is avoided.
Maximum flexibility.
uVox is designed to adopt changes not only in the position of the works on the premises, but in its very structure. Because the experience is associated with each piece of art, creating a travelling exhibition or sending a collection to another part of the world, setting it up is no more than a few mouse clicks away.
Information for improving. Thanks to uVox’s powerful statistical functions it is possible to find out which the major points of interest are, the time spent at them, the routes followed to reach them, as well as to detect spots difficult to access or which are confusing along the routes taken by the users.
CONTENT DESIGNERS
Levels of experience. uVox allows up to 3 layers of experiences through which it is possible to navigate, as well as the simultaneous reproduction of 4 sound sources per work, and it is possible to generate all kinds of combinations.
Making the most of the time. Thanks to Timeline, the designer can generate time-related effects, like synchronising effects at various points, and can build in deferrals, etc.; these help to generate virtual scenarios like the echo of the mountains or underwater reflections.
Listening to the trip. Before the final experience is transferred to the equipment, the designer can recreate a hyper realistic monitoring of the user’s visit by simulating different paths that will help to optimize the experience.
Maximum usability. Never was it so simple to adapt to a change in the exhibition, or to a change from one location to another. Equally straightforward is readjusting to the new position of the works, after which everything is ready to go.
Finding out the visitor’s reaction. The users sequence of movements can be analysed by means of uVox statistical functions, and it is possible to assess the degree of impact the content has on the visitors’ behaviour.
USERS
Breathtaking sound. uVox uses the latest binaural synthesising and reproducing technology, so that hyper realistic 3D sound experiences can be generated through the earphones… just as if you were really on the spot, thus providing the ideal complement to what you are seeing with your own eyes.
Geared towards feeling. uVox technology is only the channel through which the most stunning content can reach the user, a new paradigm of interaction that eradicates the offer of information, and which is based on the feelings produced on the visitor by means of unique sound experiences.
Transparent technology. If enjoying uVox is spectacular, this is enhanced even further by the fact that there is no need to touch a single button. We believe that the best technology is that which allows the processes to be humanised, and there is nothing better than your own movements to make these processes happen.
More accessible. Right from the start the conception and development of uVox has envisaged the obligation to marry its entertainment functionalities with the powerful capacity to improve accessibility in ways not tackled until now with the existing technologies.
